Annual Fees Are Due Now

Advice has been received from NSWRA regarding the fees due for the year 2017/2018.
As in previous years Cessnock Rifle Club has added $15.00 which covers us for junior members and possibly a dollar surplus. Usually not.
Fees are as follows;

MEMBERSHIP -  FULL                              $190.00

MEMBERSHIP – PENSIONER                  $180.00

MEMBERSHIP – UNDER 21 YEARS       $136.00    (Nil if parent a full member and U21 not working)

Please note that fees for ATR magazine are no longer being collected. I believe this will now be an online publication so it is   more important than ever that you complete the attached form and provide an email address.

If you have paid for a temporary membership please see the Treasurer for details on amount due - but complete form anyway - we use these to check data we have and prepare the list for each year.
Attached is the renewal form in Word format so you can complete it on the computer if you want to.

Club Badged Clothing.
 
We are now able to arrange embroidered Club badges with the owners first name underneath. Similar to those polo shirts previously supplied.
The are 2 options - You can provide your own black and gold polo which will be embroidered or you can buy a polo from our supplier in black and gold.
Cost will be $10.00 for an embroidered polo or T-Shirt and $40.00 for a supplied, embroidered polo shirt.
For those wishing to purchase a Polo shirt Sizing is simple, for a change…….

Sizing is done on half chest measurement. That is, lay out your favourite polo shirt and measure from the bottom of the  left front arm hole seam to right front armhole seam and you have a half chest measurement.

Sizes are ;

S 52cm
M 55cm
L 58cm
XL 62cm
XXL 65cm
XXXL 71cm

and for those specials…

XXXXXL 79cm

there is nothing between 3 X and 5 X.
The Club will also embroider colour reverse Polos or T-Shirts, that is yellow with black piping, tabs and black embroidered badge and name.
Further enquiries will be made from our supplier regarding jackets, Long sleeve polo shirts, caps and anything else anyone can think of.
Please write down your order and pass to Treasurer, with money. Also, if you are supplying the polo/T-Shirt, most important, safety pin a piece of something to the article with your name on it! Put both in a bag!
If ordering a supplied shirt name and size is still needed!
2016 - 2017  Membership Renewals
Membership Renewals for 2016 - 2017 now due.
Please note that payment must be made by or on Saturday the 7th May 2016. Payments made after this date will require a considerable amount of additional work to process and so a late payment fee of $10 will be levied by the Club for payments made after 7th  May 2016.

Mound Covering
Today, 3 April 2016, heavy mat covers were placed on mounds at Cessnock Rifle Range for the 600, 700, 800 and 900 yard mounds.

Please be advised that the use of spikes on rests, front or back is now banned on the covered mounds.

Please review your gear so that you get whatever stable platform you want without punching holes into the mat.
 
We hope to complete the remainder of mounds, 500, 300, 200 and 100 yards within the first half of the year.
 

Club Presentation and Social for 2015

I am pleased to advise all of the members of Cessnock Rifle Club that the Club presentation and social ham shoot for 2015 will be held on Sunday 13 December 2015.

As mentioned above, the shoot and presentation lunch will be held at the range Club House on Sunday, 13 December 2015, commencing at 9.00am to noon with lunch being served a little after 12.30pm. Trophy Presentations during lunch.

Again, as per previous presentations, the Committee has arranged a fully catered lunch.

The Ham Shoot will be a single 15 shot match at 600 yards commencing at 9.00am

The costs this year are as follows:

  • $30 for full members, this includes shooting for that member and meals for them and their immediate family as well (Wife, Husband, Kids, etc…).
  • $15 for junior members, this includes shooting for that member and a meal.
  • $10 for non-shooting Guests of the club this includes a meal.

This has been a very successful year for the Club and we would urge all members to attend with their families to cap what has been a great year all round.

If you will not be able to make the range before 29th November or 1 December please email your numbers for attendance to me at the club email address, info@cessnockrifleclub.org, that address repeats to Captain, Secretary and Treasurer, so we will know for certain. It is important for catering that we get the numbers right! Once again please RSVP and get your money into Gary by the 1st of December 2015 as this will be the CUT OFF, and the catering will be FINALISED.

We certainly hope you will be able to attend and look forward to seeing you on the range.
